Last Wednesday was a day to remember. After almost two years of living in Korea, I finally visited one of the most iconic spots for international students โย Oryukdo Skywalk in Busan.
Honestly, I had seen so many friends post photos from there when they first arrived in Korea. But for me, life got busy with university, work, and everything in between. And somehow, I just never made it โ until now.
I went with one of my closest friends. We started from the Kyungsang University bus stop and made our way to the skywalk. The weather that day was simply perfect โ warm sunlight, clear skies, and a soft breeze that made every step feel lighter.
The moment I saw the view for the first timeโฆ I was speechless. The endless blue ocean crashing against the cliffs, the sound of seagulls in the air โ it felt like I was in a dream. I stood there for a moment, just soaking it all in, filled with wonder and a strange mix of joy and peace.
But thenโฆ a little bad luck. The skywalk closes at 6 p.m., and we arrived at 6:10. Just ten minutes late! We laughed it off and didnโt let it ruin our mood. We still captured tons of photos and made the most of the view around us.
And then something amazing happened โ we randomly met two people from Bangladesh there. It felt like meeting family in a foreign land. We also had a nice chat with some Korean visitors, which made the experience even more special. I could feel the warmth of connection, despite the different languages and backgrounds.
That day wasnโt just a tour โ it was an emotional journey. A reminder that sometimes, beautiful things take time. And when they finally happen, theyโre worth every moment of waiting.
We returned home with tired legs but full hearts. Oryukdo Skywalk โ thank you for the memories. Iโll be back again, but next timeโฆ a little earlier. ๐
