From September 16–18, Tongmyong University hosted its Fall 2025 Festival – IN:US (“In this moment, we become one”), a vibrant celebration of culture, unity, and student life.
The campus came alive with colorful booths, delicious food, and exciting night concerts that brought everyone together. On the first day, I couldn’t attend because of my part-time job, but from the second day onward, I had the chance to join the festival. What made it even more special was that students from Busan International College, along with Korean students, set up cultural booths representing their countries. 
I felt proud seeing my Bangladeshi batchmates prepare authentic food at our booth — biryani, lassi, jhalmuri, and fuchka were all available, giving everyone a taste of Bangladesh. The Nepali booth was also filled with traditional snacks, and there were Vietnamese and Korean stalls too. One memorable moment was when our department dean visited with his team. They tasted the Bangladeshi food and gave wonderful compliments, saying everything was “very good.” Professors from other departments also joined in, treating students, enjoying the food, and sharing their cheerful reactions. It felt amazing to see our culture appreciated in such a way. In the evenings, the atmosphere completely transformed with concerts and performances. Music, dance, and student talent filled the stage, making the nights unforgettable. Everyone, regardless of nationality, enjoyed themselves and shared their cultures with one another. Overall, the festival was not just about food or concerts — it was about cultural exchange, friendship, and unity. It reminded me how beautiful it is to study in an international environment where people from different backgrounds can come together and create such wonderful memories.
