G-1 Visa Manual, I will summarize it in this article.
1. G-1 Visas (more precisely, what are G-1-5 Visas?)
- Refugee Applicant Visas
- Visa issued to a person whose treatment has not yet been determined after applying for refugee status.
2. Subject to application
- a foreigner applying for refugee status
- In the case of G-1 visas other than G-1-5, foreigners who are claiming and treating insurance due to industrial accidents/illness/accidents, their families, humanitarian residents and their families, and foreign families who died in accidents are included
3. required documents
- Application for Refugee Recognition
- Passport (if it is not possible to present a passport, the reason for that)
※In the case of a passport for forgery or alteration, the details of the acquisition and the reasons for use shall be detailed in the reason
- alien registration card (presented only in case of alien registration)
- Where there is a document, etc. to be referred to in the refugee recognition examination, such data
※Documents proving persecution, such as arrest warrants, court rulings, newspaper articles, and documents, photos, video clips, etc
- 1 photo taken within the last 6 months (3.5 cm × 4.5 cm)

3. 필요 서류
- 난민인정신청서
- 여권(여권을 제시할 수 없는 경우에는 그 사유서)
※위·변조여권의 경우 입수경위 및 사용 이유 등을 사유서에 상세하게 기재
- 외국인등록증(외국인등록을 한 경우에 한하여 제시)
- 난민인정 심사에 참고할 문서 등 자료가 있는 경우 그 자료
※체포영장, 법원판결문, 신문기사 등 박해 입증 서류와 난민임을 입증할 수 있는 서류, 사진, 영상물 등
- 최근 6개월 이내에 찍은 사진(3.5cm×4.5cm) 1장
